Following the passing of Kenya’s President Jomo Kenyatta, US President Jimmy Carter tasked Philip Schaefer (World Pension Forum Founder) to join the delegation of some of the United States most eminent civil rights leaders including Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, Coretta Scott King (Wife of MLK), Ambassador to the United Nations Andrew Young and leaders from the NAACP and White House.
