The World Pension Forum’s visit to France started in Paris and continued on into the wine growing countryside, and up to the Switzerland border. Highlights of the visit included a number of intimate discussions for the delegation to engage with Managing Director and Chair of the International Monetary Fund and Former Finance Minister of France, Christine Lagarde as well as the US Ambassador to France, Ambassador Pamela Harriman. Ambassador Harriman hosted a strategic US-France dialogue where she gave an overview of the historic and present diplomatic relations between the two global powers, key trade agreements, partnerships and the United States’ view of the current investment climate.
