West Bank & Jerusalem
Founder Philip Schaefer was inspired by President Jimmy Cater’s efforts towards achieving peace in the region and attended the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty State Dinner and toast at the White House with President Sadat and Prime Minister Begin. Decades later the World Pension Forum traveled with President Carter back to the Palestinian and Israel territories in the West Bank and Jerusalem following the signing of the Oslo Accords. The delegation was able to meet Nobel Prize Winners President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who negotiated the Oslo Accords with Yasser Arafat and Palestinian Leadership.
